Case Study : The Hotel Zamora

Through collaboration and experimentation, CF Kent worked closely with the DLR Group to develop furniture details integral to their overall design.  This idea-sharing process included exploring unique shapes, materials, textures, and finishes. Our goal was to execute their vision while balancing design aesthetic, durability, and the guest experience.

The Wardrobe is a focal piece and one of the largest items in the room. Its size, scale, and use of unique materials presented a unique design and manufacturing challenge

The size and design of the unit required that it be constructed in multiple pieces, but still have minimal visible seams. Using 3D study models, we explored different methods of assembly to find a solution.

Thanks to DLR Group's willingness to collaborate and openness to different solutions, we executed this project within budget while maintaining their creative vision.
